Home Health United Wish List

Many people like to give useful, tangible gifts to Home Health United. The following is a list of suggested items that our staff members have indicated would benefit patients, staff and volunteers. For the St. Clare Hospice House

  • Step stool for kitchen
  • Two card tables with chairs
  • Shelving and cabinets for laundry room
  • Shelving and cabinets for storage room
  • Three bathroom storage cabinets
  • Four shower caddies
  • CDs, DVDs, and books for residents and guests
  • Bird feeders and birdseed
  • Nice pots for plants
  • Cabinet and counter to store meds in office
  • CD player for meditation room
  • CD player for kitchen area
  • Prayer shawls to give patients and families
  • Scrapbooks/Memory books for families
  • Stuffed animals to give visiting children/grandchildren
  • Holiday decorations (Spring, Easter, 4th of July, etc.)
  • Journals for guests to sign in for patients

For the Hospice Program

  • Extra long twin sheet sets for hospital bed rentals
  • Washable mattress pads
  • Baby monitors
  • Personal safety/bed alarms (estimated cost: $50 each)
  • Prayer shawls for patients and families (estimated cost: $50 each)

For Home Health Staff

  • INRs for testing patients blood when on anticoagulants (estimated cost: $1,500 each)
  • E-Learning Development (estimated cost: $50,000)
  • Projectors for training (estimated cost: $2,000 each)

For volunteers (Meals on Wheels and Hospice)

  • Gas cards (any amount)
