Anderson Gives Invocation for Legislature

Tim Anderson

Tim Anderson, spiritual and grief support supervisor for Home Health United - Hospice, gave the invocation Tuesday for the Wisconsin State Assembly. State Representative Fred Clark (D-Baraboo) introduced Anderson who shared the story of one family touched by hospice before praying for the representatives. He also thanked them for taking up health care legislation on behalf of the people of Wisconsin.

Anderson is an ordained pastor in the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. He has shepherded congregations in the greater Chicago area as well as Baraboo. In his current position, Anderson supervises four spiritual counselors serving Home Health United – Hospice families. These counselors have the honor of helping people in a challenging situation focus on living life to the fullest, not letting what they can't do hinder them from doing what they still can. This team also provides grief support to families following the death of their loved one, recognizing that death ends a life but not a relationship.

Home Health United provides hospice services in 10 counties and has administrative offices in Baraboo.
