Congratulations Bob Eby!

Home Health United - Meals on Wheels volunteer Bob Eby has been honored by WKOW TV with a Jefferson Award for Public Service. The Jefferson Awards recognizes dedication and service of volunteers who transform lives and strengthen communities across the United States. Bob is now in the running for the national Jefferson Award.

A volunteer since 2000, Bob is 83 years old and still delivers meals five days a week, picking up extra routes when there is a shortage of volunteers. He often goes above and beyond his regular duties for meal recipients.

Sue Barker, MOW volunteer coordinator, says his enthusiasm and volunteer spirit are a delight when he calls to see where we need him that day.
